HEAD TO TOE CASUAL LOOK

The weather might be abysmal, but when it comes to dressing for rain showers - there's no need to be gloomy.

Especially now that this THE year of the statement trench coat. There are many wild iterations of the trench on the market right now from Burberry’s bold laminated plaid style to Anonie’s leather snake-print version. We’re partial to classic styles with a modern twist, like the MSGM coat pictured, or this adorable floral embellished style by Marianna Senchina that we’re currently obsessing over. For this week’s chilly, rainy weather, rock your trench with a colorful sweater or sweatshirt and cropped jeans (soggy hems are never cute). If you’re feeling rebellious this week pair the look with white jeans for an extra dose of spring. If you’re not quite ready to pull the trigger on the white, go for a pale blue pair. Golden Goose’s leather Francy high-tops add a playful touch with their subtle daisy print and are sturdy enough to weather spring showers. We’ll be wearing them on repeat all spring and summer!

HEAD TO TOE GOING OUT

Spring always brings the opportunity for a fresh new look, but it also requires practicality.

We always follow this formula: skinny black jeans, ankle boots, a leopard coat, and a bright handbag to lend a pop of color. This week we’re still dealing with the cold weather and lots of rain, so black jeans are a smart pick. We love the vintage wash of this pair from Khaite. They’re extremely flattering and look amazing with a bodysuit. Alexander Wang’s stretch jersey off-shoulder long sleeve bodysuit has the perfect cut for this in-between weather. It’s covered up enough but shows just the right amount of skin for spring. Top off your all-black look with a leopard trench coat. Add a cool-girl edge with a yellow cross body bag - yellow is the color of the season after all. Finish the look off with a pair of booties that aren’t too precious for walking in the rain. For a less pricey version, check out these
