HEAD TO TOE CASUAL LOOK

There comes a point in summer where the easiest option is the best option.

If you’re anything like us, you’ve begun to suffer mental fatigue from wearing the same 3 sundresses over and over again. That’s why as of late we’ve been turning to our trusty summer jumpsuits for a change. They’re just as simple to style as a dress, but add a cool-girl element to your daytime (or nighttime look). The Reformation has pretty much mastered the cool-girl jumpsuit concept as evidenced by the breezy Tortuga style. The simple, flattering lines, neutral hue and subtle button detailing scream “summer”. Pair with this summer’s requisite slide sandals, like the Apteros style by Ancient Greek Sandals. The white color feels so clean and crisp. A woven bag, such as Truss’ small cross-body style or Pamela Munson’s “Joan” carryall, is the perfect accompaniment.  Complete the look with glam sunglasses, a modern hoop earring, and a bright orange pedi.

HEAD TO TOE WORK LOOK

A bikini thrown under a dress isn’t going to fly at the office.

What does a fashionable girl wear to work in this heat? Rethink classic looks—like mixing a classic button shirt with a seersucker maxi skirt. The polished staple takes the form of an on-trend blouse, when you tie it in the front (don’t bare your belly though), roll up the shelves and pair it with a preppy, light weight skirt. We love Rachel Comey's grey-blue and white striped Steady skirt. It’s an airy cotton-seersucker so you won’t have to worry about fabrics sticking to your bum as you sit at your desk or go for work drinks. Plus, the tied up blouse shows off the skirt’s asymmetric hem giving the overall look a modern edge. Finish the look off with bright accessories, like these Gucci horsebit loafers in pink (or these for half the price) and a yellow bag

THE SECRET BEHIND THE PERFECT POUT

Bee stings. Injections. Tattooing.

The road to pillowly lips can require pain. Fortunately, keeping that pout restored, hydrated, and plump doesn’t require any agony. Enter our favorite find, Sara Happ’s Sweet Clay Lip Mask. Slather a generous amount of this creamy mask onto lips, it smells like yummy frosting on cake. This creamy and frosting-like mask goes on thick and tingly. It soothes dry lips with bentonite clay and swertiamarin, a wrinkle-reducing ingredient sourced from the Himalayas. Let it sit for anywhere between 2 to 20 minutes, daily or nightly, and then wipe away using a warm washcloth or tissue. Viola! Your lips will be beautiful and smooth.

So give it a try. It can’t hurt. And for us, that’s worth smiling about.
