HEAD TO TOE FESTIVE LOOK

Casual comfort can still be festive.

We’ve been eyeing this Rachel Zoe quilted skirt for quite some time now; it’s the perfect piece to build any fun look around. Now it’s finally available online! The texture of the quilted white skirt really pops when paired with patterned black tights such as these from Wolford. Opt for a black sweater. A sweater with a high-low cut is perfect for showing off the single inverted pleat in the skirt (which is very flattering). Finish the look off with a pair of thigh high flat boots. A casual party is best enjoyed when you can walk around in comfortable shoes. Add a fun pop of color with a red clutch.

HEAD TO TOE OFFICE PARTY

Erring on the side of caution for your annual work holiday party doesn’t mean you can’t be both festive and appropriate.

Start with a sequined pencil skirt. The silhouette reads “sophisticated,” but the shimmer screams “party.” Add a silk blouse in white or black (you can even undo a button or two at the neck if you’re feeling daring). Show your personality with an amazing shoe, like this suede tie-up sandal by Isabel Marant (on sale now!). It’s a bit sexy, but the suede and leather combination and thicker heel feel tame at the same time. A standout bracelet, ring and sleek clutch are the perfect add-ons. A red lip (this shade is a classic and looks great on many skin tones) keeps the look vibrant and shows you’re definitely not at the office.

HEAD TO TOE COCKTAIL FETE

It may be chilly, but a polar vortex it is not. Don’t be shy and bare some skin.

One of the sexiest looks for evening is a plunging décolletage. That’s why we love this jewel-toned stunner by Alice & Olivia. Notice that while there's a deep-V at the neckline and back, the hemline is a more modest length. This keeps the look tasteful. Try this fabulous version by Reformation for a similar look at a more wallet-friendly price point. This dress really speaks for itself, so stick with low-key accessories. A bangle, cocktail ring or headband is all you really need (but not all three). A pair of lamé minimalist heels like these “Nudist” sandals by Stuart Weitzman looks great and won’t compete with the overall look. You’ll need a cover-up to stay warm. We love this cropped faux fur jacket to drape over your shoulders (on sale!).
