HEAD TO TOE COFFEE RUN

Our coffee run is a sacred part of our morning routine—and it often involves thrown-on sweats, a makeup-less visage, and maybe a baby strapped to our chest.

It’s time for us to ditch the frazzled blogger-mom look. Our solution is to center our outfit on a pair of marled track pants like these pairs by Rag & Bone and Topshop. They’re both laidback yet pulled-together, and would also look super cute paired with heels and a blazer as another option. A cashmere crewneck sweater is the perfect topper, as the morning chill is in our forecast for this week. If the weather is decent, go for your favorite pair of kicks. If it’s snowy or rainy, substitute your go-to pair of weather-proof boots (we’re obsessed with our Docs ). Add a slouchy beanie to combat bed-head and oversized sunnies to hide the signs of lack-of-sleep—and we’re good to go!

HEAD TO TOE

GYM

Has the frigid, snowy forecast forced your workout indoors with the masses? Sounds like it's time for a gym wardrobe upgrade.

Instead of twinning every other chick in head-to-toe Lulu, incorporate some of your day-to-day clothing mainstays into your gym look. Mix it up this week with a fashion tee, like this Alexander McQueen Butterfly Roar T-shirt. For those wanting a loose-fitting tank top, LNA makes perfectly long, soft versions that look awesome with an Alexander Wang or a Champion sports bra peeping through. We tend to stick with solid colors on the bottom. This week, since we’ve accepted the fact that it’s too cold to expose our ankles, we’ve been rocking black socks tucked into our leggings. Wearing a sleek pair of bottoms by Hey Jo or Stella McCartney actually makes this look pretty cute. On top, we’re all about layering with our favorite oversized Acne hooded cotton-jersey zip-up sweatshirt  or a super-warm sweater by Sweaty Betty. Finish off the look with a cool parka like this one by Zara  and a fun backpack.

IF YOU COULD PICK JUST ONE POLISH COLOR

This never-ending winter blows. That’s why we’ve returned to an old favorite, the glamorous Big Apple Red by OPI. And, after spotting many fashion editors during fashion week with the bright, shiny tomato red color on their nails, it’s clear, we’re not alone. The color really does add an exclamation point to any outfit. Plus, it looks amazing on all skin tones. It’s just what we’ve been craving this time of year: an easy, fun update to your winter look.
