IF YOU COULD HAVE JUST ONE PIECE ON HAND

There’s a chance of showers this week. You want to be prepared, but nothing’s worse than being caught in clunky pair of Wellies when there’s no rain in sight. These Loeffler Randall rain booties are the perfect solution. They’re made of 100% waterproof rubber to protect your feet from the rain. The semi-gloss finish and sleek design make them cute to wear even when it’s sunny. We like the grey version with their adorable red-and-black-checkered jersey cotton lining, but the black and army green versions with plain black lining are just as great.

HEAD TO TOE

CASUAL LOOK

This week’s above-average temperatures have us excited to introduce some spring pieces into our winter wardrobes.

Try integrating a pair of bright jeans with your winter staples for a casual look that feels fresh but is weather-appropriate. Since it gets chilly towards the end of the day, layering is the key to staying warm. Top off your colored jeans with your old wardrobe standby: a denim shirt. Layer a heavy, neutral-colored sweater on top for insulation. A durable, military-inspired jacket will block the wind and work as an unexpectedly cool contrast to the bright pants. Throw on an oversized cashmere or wool scarf for additional warmth. Pair with sturdy ankle boots or comfy Converse All-Stars for equally chic looks.

Turbans

WHERE TO BUY

EUGENIA KIM Chiara turban headband, shopbop.com

A turban headband is a quick fix for this week's not-too-cold days and still-chilly nights. With its unexpected shape and strategic coverage, the turban headband is an accessory that adds instant cool to all looks. Whether you pair it with jeans and Converse or a silky blouse and high-waisted, pleated leather skirt, you'll be on the money. Plus, it'll help keep the frizzies at bay throughout the scattered showers forecasted for later this week. Our favorites are by Eugenia Kim who has designed a range of options. From chunky wool to silk-jersey versions, they are available in both solid colors and funky prints. Whichever style you choose, you'll have the perfect amount of coverage to keep warm in this week's unseasonably mild weather.
