SUMMER SWIMWEAR GUIDE

FOUR STYLES TO COVET THIS SEASON

Marahoffmanpalm2

CUT-OUT MAILLOT

These one-piece styles have been popular for the last few years and we understand why. They show the perfect amount of skin without being gauche.

Athleticsuit

ATHLETIC

We love these cool, functional suits. They feel both futuristic and minimalist and are great for chasing after kids or swimming laps.

RETRO

Chic, lady-like and glam, these suits exude confidence. Plus, they were made to be worn by a woman with curves.

HEAD TO TOE

OUTDOOR SHINDIG LOOK

Summer BBQs or dinner parties are pretty much a given. But knowing exactly what to wear while the weather is still somewhat chilly—not so much.

Save the bohemian maxi dresses and skirts for July and August. Right now we’re loving a laid-back ’70s look. A pair of flattering high-waist, bell-bottom jeans such as these by Rag & Bone with a semi-sheer silk chiffon blouse is a great way to welcome the start of the warmer season. Pair with platform sandals like these by Gianvito Rossi or this version by Schutz. We love how the minimal straps make the shoe look less chunky, and the cork heel ensures they are comfortable. Gold accessories will keep the look from being too frumpy.

IF YOU COULD ONLY BUY JUST ONE PIECE

It’s no secret that the lady behind the ultra cool Nolita boutique No.6 slash the designer of those infamous clog booties knows a thing or two about style and practicality. So when we noticed that No. 6 had launched a new swimwear line just in time for summer, we were pretty stoked. The line features the most flattering one-piece bathing suits featuring spaghetti straps that can be worn vertically or crisscrossed. They’re fully lined and come in such rad prints that are sure to be on-trend for many more summers to come. We love the bikini selection as well.
