HEAD TO TOE GYM LOOK

For the past decade, the black Nike (with white swoosh) has been the workout shoe of choice for NYC girls-in-the-know.

Nike’s recent introduction of the Epic React, their newest running shoe, however, has us lusting after a white gym sneaker for the first time in years. Luckily, the technical qualifications of this new Nike live up to the super cool design. We think they add a fresh, sleek look to any gym ensemble. Start with a pair of leggings with a racer stripe side detail. Pair with a logoed muscle tee, like LNDR’s Hook top. Top it off with an oversized graphic sweatshirt like Tory Sport’s Love emblazoned “Letterman” style. Throw on a modern puffer, some cool accessories and, of course, your white kicks and prepare to kick some ass in the gym.

HEAD TO TOE GALA LOOK

The dress code says festive or cocktail. Okay, so what to wear?

It’s irritating spending too much money on a dress that you’re only going to wear once. The best way to avoid that? Opt for a look comprised of cool separates you’ll wear again and again. This Alice McCall tulle skirt can be worn right now straight through spring/summer. It’s a great piece to update your closet as the peek-a-boo look is very on-point right now. For a benefit gala, we like the idea of pairing the skirt with a simple bodysuit like this one from Fleur Du Mal. The glazed jersey fabric makes the top look elegant. When it’s warmer outside, you can wear the skirt with a simple wife-beater tank-top. And the bodysuit, can be worn with with jeans, trousers or any other skirt in your wardrobe. Finish the look off with a gold accessories and a red bag. We love how a sexy pair of black booties winterizes the outfit and a fitted black leather coat adds a nice contrast to the flirty, flower theme of the skirt.
