HEAD TO TOE CASUAL LOOK

To challenge ourselves this week, we’ve assembled two great spring looks on a dime: Every piece is under $200!

In light of this week’s drizzly, overcast weather, we centered our casual look on this pair of high waist, cropped trousers by Zara. Not only are cropped pants one of spring’s biggest trends, they’re perfect for the rain, too, thanks to their shorter length. For a less wide-legged style, check out Everlane’s Go-Weave crop trouser. Tuck in an on-trend, lace-up top like Madewell’s Libra tee (pictured) or LNA’s Esperanza sweater. As for the trench coat, there’s no need to spend a fortune because there are tons of affordable options. We love the retro feel of Asos’ midi trench. Keep the look cool and functional with a pair of classic Vans and a hands-free crossbody bag in a punchy shade. Finish the look off with Spektre’s oversized shades with gradient lenses just in case the sun makes an appearance.

HEAD TO TOE GOING OUT

There’s no better cure for a blah forecast than a little retail therapy, right? Especially if it doesn’t break the bank.

Taking key pieces of the season and combining them together for the perfect, wallet-friendly, nighttime-worthy look. There's no escaping the influence of crochet right now, and a dress is an easy way to incorporate the trend into your wardrobe. This white midi style by J.O.A. is perfect for wearing right now. Pair with peep-toe booties to add a modern and chic touch to the look. This pair from Forever 21 is a great steal, featuring a block heel and lace-up styling––two of spring’s biggest trends. Even better: Forever 21 is known among fashion insiders to have the best selection of footwear that won’t fall apart. For an unexpected twist, pair the look with a bomber jacket in lieu of your beloved leather jacket. Finish the look by signing up to Justfab.com where you’ll get 75 percent off your first order. We scored this awesome bag (for only $7.49!) so as not to ruin our pricier purses. Finish the look off with a cool ear cuff and you’re ready to take on the rain without worrying about ruining any big-splurge items.

IF YOU COULD ONLY BUY ONE PIECE

The "it" accessory of the season rarely costs anything remotely in the affordable stratosphere. So when a hot item like Mabu by Maria BK's sandals presents itself for $200 or less, you should always act fast. Insanely cool, unique, and very au courant with colorful accents like pom-poms and tassels, these sandals are really all you’ll need to pair with your denim cut-offs or boho dresses this summer. Added bonus: They’re handmade in Greece, so they won’t fall apart on you. We say buy now, wear later.
